Data Response – some guide lines
ØAlways read the axis of the graph or the legend or any information that is needed to interpret the data
Ø Make use of highlighters to help you focus
Ø Note the norm and exceptions
Ø Take note of the ‘big picture’ the general trend
Ø Do not take more than 2 minute to understand the data, anything more means you may never understood it!
Ø Take note of the title of the data, it is usually part of the answer.
ØFinally, always consider what is in the data for your answers
